Motocross rider airlifted after colliding with a tree

RACQ CareFlight Gold Coast’s rescue helicopter was tasked to a motocross park near the town of Tarome 50 kilometres south-west of Ipswich Sunday afternoon.

A 36 year old male from Brisbane collided with a tree whilst riding around the track causing him to fracture his right femur.

The Intensive Care Flight Paramedic treated and stablised the patient before being airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
