Man rescued after being crushed by car

The areomedical crew were tasked to the cattle station, north of Julia Creek, just after three o’clock yesterday afternoon.

Upon arrival the team worked along side paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to treat the man for abdominal and pelvic injuries.

The 75 year old was then flown to Mount Isa Hospital in a stable condition.

2016-17 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,342 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
