Man hit by car airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted the man, aged in his late 20s, with multiple traumatic injuries.
He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are investigating the incident.
It was the second motor vehicle accident attended by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews overnight.
Earlier, the Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a man in his mid-40s, after he was involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident, in the Southern Downs region.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
