Man airlifted from motorbike crash

The man had been riding his motorbike when he hit a bump in the road and was thrown off, onto the bitumen, causing serious lacerations and gravel rash.
He was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics before being taken to the State Emergency Service grounds at Seventeen Seventy.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper landed soon after and stabilised the man for transport.  
He was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition. 
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
