Man airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue after being hit by hammer

Local State Emergency Service (SES) crew members assisted the RACQ LifeFlight aeromedical team in loading the patient aboard the helicopter, which had been requested to attend at around 10.00am this morning. (Sun 9th Sept)
The man was then flown from the Western Downs region to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
