Man airlifted after motorbike crash

The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the scene shortly after 10:30am. 

He man suffered multiple injuries and was transported in a stable condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

It’s the second motorbike accident the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew have been sent to, so far this weekend.

Yesterday, a man, aged in his forties, was injured after crashing his motorbike on the beach.

The aeromedical team was sent to the scene, landing on the beach in the Noosa region, around 4:30pm. 

The man suffered lower limb injuries and was transported in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue base. 

He was then transported via road to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
