Man airlifted after horse riding accident

The rider, who is in his fifties, was herding cattle on a property south-west of Kingaroy when he came off his mount and fell to the ground.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter landed at a nearby field, where it was met by the Queensland Ambulance Service ground crew who had transported the injured man from the accident scene.

He was in a stable condition when he was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
