The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man in his 70s who was involved in a head-on collision on Kilcoy-Murgon Road in the Jimna township earlier today.
The man was travelling around 80 kilometres per hour when his car collided head-on with another vehicle driven by a man in his 20s.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue treated the man in his 70s on-scene before flying him to the Royal Brisbane Hospital for further treatment for suspected chest and pelvic injuries.
He traveled in a stable condition.
The male in his 20s was treated for minor injuries on-scene by the Queensland Ambulance Service.
