The man in his 50s had been working in a ditch at a building site when a clump of black soil rolled on him. He sustained crush injuries to his pelvis.
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) transported the man to the helipad at Millmerran Hospital, where the helicopter landed.
He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
