An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital by RACQ CareFlight Rescue with facial injuries after he was kicked in the face by a cow.
The Toowoomba rescue helicopter was tasked to Proston, west of Murgon, just before 9am this morning.
The man had been milking the cow on a nearby property when he was injured.
He was treated on the scene by QAS before being transported to Proston.
The patient was then airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.
