The woman, who was moving cattle on a Dalby property with her husband on Wednesday, was standing at a gate when she was suddenly attacked by the animal.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Aircrewman Ryan Purchase said a bull kicked the gate, sending the woman flying backwards about five metres.
“The woman was subsequently trampled by the bull, receiving two hooves to the chest,” he said.
“She suffered suspected chest injuries.”
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to airlift the injured woman at around 2.30pm on Wednesday.
She was retrieved from Dalby Hospital shortly after 3.15pm and flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
