The rescue helicopter received the call just before 9am on Saturday morning to a property where the man had been herding bulls in a cattle yard when one charged at him and knocked him down and trampled him.
The local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) was first on the scene to treat the patient.
On arrival at the scene, the LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and Intensive Care Paramedic assisted the QAS to stabilise the patient for head injuries caused by the bull.
He was airlifted to Roma Hospital in a stable condition.
This is the second incident in less than a fortnight where LifeFlight crews have attended after a bull has attacked a man.
