The rider suffered multiple injuries after he lost control and fell off his bike.
The Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene at 1.30pm.
CareFlight’s Critical Care Doctor and QAS Intensive Care Flight Paramedic treated the man before he was flown to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
This is the second rescue performed by the Sunshine Coast-based CareFlight crew in less than 24 hours.
On Friday afternoon, a woman suffering an allergic reaction was airlifted from Central Station on Fraser Island.
Once on scene, the QAS Intensive Care Flight Paramedic was winched down to the patient.
Together with the Queensland Ambulance Service on the ground, the Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the woman before she was transported by road ambulance to a nearby airstrip to meet the CareFlight helicopter.
The woman was flown to Hervey Bay Hospital for treatment.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue crews have performed 21 winch rescues to retrieve people from isolated locations, dense bushland, rough seas and moving vessels in the 2015-2016 financial year.
