Home maintenance job leaves man seriously injured

It’s believed the man was working on his home in Moreton Bay when the accident occurred.

The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to stabilise the man before flying him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

He was transported in a stable condition.

2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
