The Pittsworth local was taken to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment before the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called.
He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
Earlier today the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter also airlifted a 21-year-old man after his motorcycle hit a car.
He was airlifted from Toowoomba Base Hospital to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious multi-trauma injuries.
He travelled in a critical condition.
2016-17 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,342 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
