Five missions in 24 hours

The most recent is airlifting a female in her 40s who suffered broken ribs after falling from a horse at a polo event. She was airlifted from Toowoomba Base Hospital to the PA Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier this afternoon our rescue helicopter flew to Dalby to airlift a 76 year old male who fell off his motorcycle during a motorcycle run with a group of riders. He has suffered critical abdominal injuries and was transferred to Toowoomba Base Hospital.

We also airlifted a male in his 20s from Toowoomba to the PA suffering head injuries after falling from a moving vehicle in Goondiwindi earlier in the week. A male in his 20s from Chinchilla Hospital to Toowoomba Base Hospital suffering head injuries and a man in his 70s from a property at Chinchilla who fell from his horse. He suffered a head injury and was airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital.
