Fall victims airlifted in separate incidents

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a man after he fell off a ladder and hit his head at his workplace, south-west of Gatton, around 11.20am.
He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra (PA) Hospital in a stable condition. 
It followed the transfer of a second, middle-aged man who fell in his shower and suffered head injuries.
The man was airlifted by the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
Since July 1, RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has airlifted 17 people who have been injured in serious fall accidents.
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
