The rescue chopper was called to the scene, in the Southern Downs region, just after 8 o’clock this morning.
It’s believed the man had been operating a piece of farming machinery, when one of his arms became caught.
Witnesses told rescuers his second arm also became caught, as he attempted to free himself.
He suffered significant upper-limb and other injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), Queensland Police Service (QPS), Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) crews and medical staff from a nearby hospital were on the scene, when the aeromedical team arrived.
The patient was flown to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition, under the care of LifeFlight’s Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
