The medical team was carefully lowered from the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter.
The man, aged in his twenties was riding with friends along a 4WD track, when he came off his bike early this afternoon.
He was treated at the scene for a number of injuries.
The doctor, paramedic, QAS officers and patient were then moved by ute to a cleared paddock nearby where the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was able to safely land to meet them.
The patient was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
This is the second off-road motorbike-related incident this RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has attended today. Just after midday they airlifted a child injured in a motorcross accident.
