Roma Workshop

First Minutes Matter is a FREE community trauma training program aimed at equipping you with practical skills for time-critical medical situations while professional help is on the way. In this one-day in-person workshop from LifeFlight’s experienced training team, you’ll learn about the following topics:

  • Personal, Road & Aircraft Safety
  • Burns
  • Bleeding
  • Snake Bites
  • Airways (Choking & Anaphylaxis)
  • Strokes, Seizures & Febrile Convulsions
  • CPR & AEDs
  • Emergency Equipment
  • Wellbeing

The workshop starts at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm with a lunch break in between (lunch is not provided). We recommend arriving early so you can find a seat and meet your Trainer. If you have any questions, please email firstminutesmatter@lifeflight.org.au.

*Please note: On completion of this program, you will receive a Certificate of Participation (CoP). You will not receive a Certification of Accreditation. For accredited medical training qualifications, we recommend organisations registered by ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) to deliver VET (Vocational Education Training) services. LifeFlight delivers this community education program and CoP without any relation to a Registered Training Organisation.
