The first call for help came in at 4.30pm on Easter Saturday after a teenage boy suffered a bad fall whilst bull riding.
The bull rider sustained a suspected head injury and concussion.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue’s Mount Isa based helicopter airlifted the patient to Mount Isa Base Hospital in a stable condition.
CareFlight’s Mount Isa crew was deployed to Yelvertoft Station for a second time in less than 24 hours at 7am today.
A woman suffered suspected fractured ribs after falling from a horse.
She was also airlifted to Mount Isa Base Hospital in a stable condition.
