It’s understood the man fell from the off-road vehicle resulting in head injuries.
CareFlight’s Sunshine Coast-based helicopter was tasked to assist the man at the scene of the accident at around 1pm.
The CareFlight clinical team on board the rescue helicopter assisted on-site emergency crews to treat the patient on the ground.
He was then airlifted to Nambour General Hospital for further treatment.
