CareFlight airlifts woman injured in parachuting accident

CareFlight’s Critical Care Doctor and Intensive Care Flight Paramedic treated the patient’s injuries, which also include suspected fractures, before she was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

The dramatic collision took place this morning at Toogoolawah Drop Zone, located approximately 20 kilometres north of Esk.

One in five RACQ CareFlight Rescue missions are to treat and airlift seriously injured people who require immediate specialist care.
