At around 8:30pm last (Saturday) night, the Sunshine Coast based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to airlift a 57-year-old man injured when the rally car he was co-driving crashed and rolled.
He was transported from the scene of the crash to Murgon Hospital before being airlifted to Nambour General Hospital.
He travelled in a stable condition.
Earlier yesterday, RACQ CareFlight Rescue airlifted a 41-year-old Sunshine Coast man injured after he lost control of his rally car which veered off the course and down a 20 metre embankment.
He was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
