The first mission flown by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was to Happy Valley at around 10.30pm last night after a man fell from a balcony and suffered suspected multi-trauma injuries.
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifted the man to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
The helicopter was then immediately re-tasked to the Orchid Beach area to airlift a two-year-old Rockhampton boy who was suffering breathing difficulties.
The young boy was accompanied by his father and airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
