This included two former CareFlight patients, Bryce Lindores (2012 London Paralympian silver medalist – cycling) and Brenton Jones (professional cyclist with Huon Genesys Cycling team), as well as Flight Paramedic Brad Solomon and his son Trent.
The challenge was to ride 270kms from the Gold Coast to Toowoomba and raise funds to purchase a vital piece of medical equipment – a Propaq Monitor.
This event raised $21,000, which was an incredible achievement for the relatively small group.
