Rod Forrester

Rod Forrester is a highly successful Sunshine Coast based businessman who places a strong emphasis on community.

In 2002 he became a Sunshine Coast Helicopter Rescue Service Board Member, and in July 2013 was appointed to the LifeFlight’s Board after the merger of the two iconic helicopter rescue services.

Founder of Forrester Parker Group, Rod went on to head FKP Limited, Australia’s largest owner/operator of retirement villages and one of the nation’s top 200 companies with an annual turnover of $350 million.

Rod still works in construction, co-founding Aria Property Group.

His extensive community commitment has included: Founding Chairman of Matthew Flinders College; University of Sunshine Coast Board Member; and Chairman of their Capital Work’s Committee and Deputy Chancellor.

He was also on the Board of Innovation Centre of the Sunshine Coast, dedicated to helping other businesses get off the ground.
