Woman airlifted after Bruce Highway rollover

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a woman to hospital, after she was injured in a single vehicle rollover, on the Bruce Highway. 

The aeromedical team was called into action, just after 8pm, last night. 

The rescue helicopter landed on the highway, near the crash site, south of Maryborough. 

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) personnel and Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers were also called to the scene. 

A woman, aged in her 20s, was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, under the care of LifeFlight's Critical Care Doctor and a QAS Flight Paramedic. 

She was transported in a stable condition.
