RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts injured motorcyclist
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted an injured motorcyclist to hospital, after an accident, in the Gympie region.
The rescue helicopter was tasked just before 6pm.
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) transported the patient, a man aged in his 40s, to a local oval, where the chopper landed.
The man was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, under the care of the LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and the QAS Flight Paramedic.
He was transported in a stable condition, with multiple injuries.
