RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts crash survivor
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted one of three people who survived a single vehicle accident, on the New England Highway, near Crows Nest.
The rescue chopper was one of two, sent to the scene of the car rollover, just after 4:15pm.
Multiple emergency crews, including Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Emergency Service and Queensland Ambulance Service officers were assisting, assessing and treating patients, when the aeromedical team arrived.
A 5 month old baby, who was in a baby capsule and reportedly escaped serious injury, was airlifted to hospital by the QGAir helicopter, along with an adult male patient.
A woman, aged in her forties, was in a stable condition, when she was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.
