Motorbike rider flown to hospital after crashing into cow
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a motorbike rider to hospital, after he crashed into a cow.
The aeromedical team was called to the Noosa region, around 10:30pm last night.
The helicopter landed at an oval near the accident, which is believed to have happened on a rural property.
Upon arrival, LifeFlight's Critical Care Doctor and a Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic assessed the man's injuries.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper then airlifted him to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, with fractures and suspected spinal injuries.
The patient, aged in his 30s, was transported in a serious, but stable condition.
