Man airlifted after motorbike crash at Fraser Island
A man, aged in his thirties, is recovering in hospital after suffering a broken leg in a motorbike crash, earlier today.
It's believed he was riding along the beach at Fraser Island when he lost control and crashed his motorbike.
The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the scene around 10:30 this morning, where they were able to land on the beach.
When the rescue chopper arrived, the patient was being treated by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers were already at the scene.
The man was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
