Dingo attack leaves two injured
A 9 year-old boy and woman aged in her twenties are recovering at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after they were attacked by a pack of dingoes at Fraser Island.
The Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to scene shortly after 6pm yesterday.
The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to stabilise the pair before flying them to hospital.
It was a six hour round trip for the aeromedical crew who didn't return to base until midnight.
