Woman crushed by car on hinterland property

A woman, aged in her sixties, has been airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after she was run over by a car and critically injured, earlier today.

The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew to the property, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, shortly after 10 o'clock this morning.

The aeromedical team worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to stabilise the woman, before airlifting her to hospital.

She was transported in a critical condition.

Later this afternoon, the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter responded to a motorcycle accident north-east of Toowoomba.

It's believed the man lost control of his motorbike and veered off the road.

The male rider, aged in his sixties, suffered suspected leg injuries and was transported in stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.
