Pedestrian airlifted in a serious condition
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a woman from the Southern Downs region last night, after she was reportedly hit by a vehicle from behind, while walking with a friend through town.
The woman, aged in her thirties, suffered multiple injuries.
She was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
It was one of eight missions flown by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters overnight, from the border to the North Burnett region.
