Woman airlifted after suspected cardiac condition
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a woman in her 30s who suffered a suspected cardiac condition at a Sunshine Coast residence.
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the patient at the residence before transporting her via road to the local cricket field to be airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.
The Sunshine Coast based helicopter crew was called to the scene at 5:09pm.
The LifeFlight doctor and paramedic on board worked together with QAS paramedics to administer additional treatment before the patient was transported to Prince Charles Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
