Two young males airlifted after separate motorcross accidents

The Brisbane based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a young boy from Chinchilla Hospital on Sunday afternoon after he was badly injured while riding his motor bike.

He suffered multiple trauma injuries when he swerved to miss a kangaroo and hit a tree stump, and was then thrown off the bike and hit a tree.

The boy was airlifted to Nambour Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Also on Sunday, the Sunshine Coast based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew to Murgon Hospital to airlift a 14 year old male suffering from leg and possible spinal injuries after coming off a dirt bike. He travelled to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
