Teen airlifted after serious crash
The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a 17 year old teenager following a single vehicle crash near Nanango.
It's believed the car the teenager was driving crashed down a ditch and into a tree in the early hours of this morning.
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) transported the teen to Nanango Hospital, where they were met by the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.
A LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor treated the 17 year old for suspected head, neck and chest injuries, before the aeromedical crew airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
