Man injured after angry bull charges gate

A man in his 50s has been airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue after being attacked by a bull in the Western Downs region today.

The man was loading cattle onto the back of a cattle truck when one of the bulls suddenly charged a gate.

The gate subsequently swung around and slammed into the man’s face, causing serious facial injuries.

The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the property north of Tara at 11.45am.

On arrival the man was being treated by the Queensland Ambulance Service.

He was airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
