Man airlifted after roof fall near Maryborough 

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man in his 50's who fell from a roof of a scout camp building north of Maryborough this morning.  

The Hervey Bay man had been putting a new roof of the building when he fell, sustaining suspected leg fractures and a hand injury. 

He was transported by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to Maryborough Airport, where they were met by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.

The man was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
