Man airlifted after motocross accident

The Sunshine Coast based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Neerdie State Forest west of Tin Can Bay Sunday morning around 9:45 am to a motocross rider that had fallen from his bike during a ride with friends in the forest.

The injured male rider in his early sixties from Tin Can Bay was treated by the rescue helicopters medical team for leg injuries before airlifting him to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
