Man airlifted after falling from cattle truck

The Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has transported a man who fell from a truck while loading cattle yesterday afternoon. 

The man, in his 60s, suffered a suspected compound fracture in his left ankle as a result of the fall, and the helicopter was called to airlift the man from Mundubbera Hospital just after 5pm. 

The man was taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
