Woman airlifted after motorcyle accident South Calon

The Bundaberg based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to South Calon, 35km west of Bundaberg Sunday morning at 11am for a motorcyle accident.

The accident occurred near the Cedars Creek Crossing Bridge when a female motorbike rider failed to negotiate a corner and hit a guard rail. She suffered multiple fractures to her right leg and her face.

The patient was treated by the local QAS and RACQ LifeFlight Rescue's Intensive Care Flight Paramedic for her injuries before being airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
