Woman airlifted after motocross accident

The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight rescue helicopter was tasked late Sunday morning to Gap Creek motocross park N.E Warwick for a motocross accident.

A 21 year old woman from Brisbane had come off her motocross bike whilst negotiating a turn when she was flung over her handlebars. Both the rescue helicopter's medical team and the QAS treated her for suspected head and spinal injuries.

The patient was then airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
