Two Helicopters transport injured father and daughter

Two RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopters were tasked to separately transport a father and daughter from Murgon Hospital at 8:00pm last night.

The 44 year old father and his 4 year old daughter sustained suspected head injuries after they were thrown from a motorbike while riding around their rural property.

The Brisbane based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was diverted from an airlift from Kingaroy Hospital to transport the 44 year old from Murgon Hospital to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Sunshine coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue flew the 4 year old daughter to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital along with her mother from Murgon Hospital.

Both patients were transferred in stable conditions.
