Patient airlifted from 1770 Boat Crash
Yesterday Bundaberg's RACQ CareFlight Rescue flew to the town of 1770 at 6:45 PM to attend to patients involved in a boat crash.
The incident occurred when a boat carrying multiple people crashed into rocks off shore from Agnes Waters and 1770.
Rescue services from the Volunteer Marine Rescue (VMR) transported the people from the damaged vessel back to the shore.
The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter landed at the 1770 SES facilities and airlifted a male patient with suspected fractures and was transported to Bundaberg Hospital.
The rescue services flight paramedic travelled by road ambulance with another patient to Bundaberg Hospital.
