Man airlifted from Bruce Highway

A 21 year old man has been airlifted by the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter at around 6.30 this morning after rolling his car and trailer on the Bruce Highway at Forest Glen.

The northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway were closed so emergency services could attend the scene.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter landed on the northbound highway to treat the patient.

He was airlifted suffering suspected pelvis and spinal injuries, and transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
