GC Man airlifted following single vehicle rollover

The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man from the scene of a single truck rollover on the Kogan-Condamine road, east of Condamine, this afternoon.

The driver, a 32-year-old man from the Gold Coast, was trapped inside the vehicle as a result of the accident, and was extricated by emergency services personnel.

The patient was then transported to the nearby QGC Windibri site, where the CareFlight medical team was waiting.

The man was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for assessment. He travelled in a stable condition.

Earlier, the same Toowoomba-based CareFlight crew flew to Table Top Mountain to treat and transport a patient who had injured herself near the summit of the Mountain.

She was also taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
