Driver, 91, hospitalised after collision with truck

A 91-year-old man from the Sunshine Coast was flown to hospital last night after his car and a truck collided at Cunninghams Gap.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter picked up the man and transported him to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with suspected concussion.

The Toowoomba crew was busy overnight, being called to pick up a patient soon after returning from the scene of the accident.

They flew a 39-year-old man from Tara Hospital to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with suspected internal bleeding in the early hours of today.
