CareFlight called to trail bike accident, Gayndah

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man from a property near Gayndah after he was involved in an off road motorcycle accident.

It’s understood the man was riding a trail bike on a residential property North West of Gayndah when he collided with a wallaby.  

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called to his assistance at around 8am.

The CareFlight medical crew on board the aircraft assisted Queensland Ambulance Service officers to treat the man for abrasions and possible head injuries.

The patient was transferred to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
